Since I’ve started working with Jeff, my training has become more consistent and my racing goals have become more focused. With his guidance I won both the Oklahoma City Marathon and the Charlotte Thunder Road Marathon. If you want to take your running to the next level, I highly recommend Jeff as your coach. The past fall I started to do some light running on my own and was amazingly able to string together 2 months of running without getting injured. In November I ran a half marathon in 1:31:30 and during the race I was reminded of how much I love to run. After the race I naturally wanted to run another half marathon and I wanted to run it faster, so I signed up for a February race and started to increase my mileage. I quickly learned how difficult it is to write your own training plan and ended up with a couple of nagging injuries that prevented me from doing much running in December and January. By the end of January I knew that a February half marathon was out of the picture and I was frustrated with how little progress I was making. So I emailed Jeff and asked him if he would be willing to put together a training plan for me. I told him I had run a half marathon in the fall and wanted to run another one in the spring, but more importantly I just wanted to be able to run consistently and stay healthy. Jeff was more than happy to put together a detailed training plan that took into account all of my previous injuries and was specifically tailored towards me and my goals. He encouraged me to start an online running log so that he could monitor my progress and constantly adjusted things based on how I was feeling and how my workouts were going. With his help I got in a little over three months of consistent training without getting injured. On May 9th I ran my second half marathon in 1:27:05, which is a 4:25 improvement. I am thrilled with my new PR, but I’m more excited by the fact that with Jeff’s help I’ve been able to stay healthy and train more consistently than I ever have before. Running is fun again and I’m looking forward to continuing my training with Jeff. I can’t wait to see what I’ll be able to accomplish as I continue to build a more solid base of injury-free running.” Nora Sullivan – Boston, MA

“Thanks Jeff! The Training Clinic video really helped me understand what I need to do in order to fuel properly during the race. I was finally able to overcome my “bonking” problem and qualify for Boston. I can’t thank you enough!”
